We paid for Candy AI Premium and tested it on October 24, 2026. Lovi Dream is our own app. For OurDream, Kindroid, Nomi and Replika, we took prices from each app's own App Store listing or website and features from their own sites on October 27, 2026. We didn't buy those plans, so treat those sections as a buyer's summary.

1. Candy AI, best for the most photos and video

Candy AI is an adult AI girlfriend app run by EverAI Limited, a company registered in Malta. It has the largest content library we've seen: when we tested it, we counted 31 Shorts series (video stories with episodes of about 80 seconds), 30 private video packs and hundreds of ready-made characters, realistic, anime and male.

Candy Premium costs $13.99 a month ($9.99 for the first month), $8.99 a month on the 3-month plan or $3.99 a month billed yearly at $47.88. Premium includes unlimited text chat and 100 tokens a month. Extra tokens cost $9.99 for 100, and almost everything beyond text uses them: chat images are 4 tokens each, a paid Shorts episode is 30 and a private pack is 145 to 330.

In our memory test, the character we chatted with remembered our name, job and dog's name four messages later. Candy also saves key details on its own after 20 messages, and you can write notes for her to keep. Characters send voice notes, photos and short videos, and Live Action lets you pick what she does on video, with new actions at each of 12 levels.

The drawbacks are the token costs and the free account, which gets 5 messages and one image. Refunds are only possible within 24 hours of paying, if you've used 20 tokens or fewer.

Best for: people who want lots of ready-made video and don't mind buying tokens. Our full Candy AI review has every price and test.

2. Lovi Dream, best for token value and video stories (our app)

Lovi Dream is our AI girlfriend app, so we know it in more detail than the others. You chat with 23 ready-made girls, realistic and anime, or build your own from her looks to her personality. She sends photos in chat, and Premium adds voice messages.

The free account gets 5 messages and a photo, and signup takes one tap with Google. You can watch the first episodes of every Shorts series without an account. Premium costs $14.99 a month, $6.99 a month billed yearly, or $399 once for Lifetime. It includes unlimited messages and 100 tokens a month.

Tokens are where Lovi Dream does better than Candy AI: $9.99 buys 300 tokens, against 100 on Candy. A photo costs 3 tokens, a Shorts episode 30 and a private pack 20 to 60. Live Action, where you choose what she does on video and new scenes open as you level up, is live with one character, Kristina.

The drawbacks: Lovi Dream has a smaller library than Candy AI (4 Shorts series and 6 private packs today), no voice calls, and no long-term memory. Characters keep the last 80 messages of a chat in view, so she'll follow a long scene but won't recall last month.
